CLICK HERE TO VOTE NOW for Lady Gowrie in the Tasmanian Institute of Architects People’s Choice Awards.

Shortlisted in the Education category, this project responds to an integrated model of child care, education and community, creating flexible indoor and outdoor play spaces and blurring the boundaries of age to create a play terrain across an inner-city industrial site. The project rehabilitated a brownfield site previously occupied by a mechanics workshop, of which the raw materiality, utilitarian scale and residual automotive insignia has been playfully incorporated into the final design.

By voting, you will go into the draw to win the following prizes:

Zip HydroTap Sparkling plus standard installation costs (conditions apply) valued at $5000, or a one-night stay for two people at Picnic Island Lodge, Freycinet valued at $1190.* Prize winners will be notified by the Australian Institute of Architects by Monday 18 July 2016. Look out for the results of all the Awards in the special lift-out in the Sunday Tasmanian on Sunday 25 June 2016.

*Subject to availability for stays in 2017.
