Jet O’Rourke

Jet is a designed-focused architect educated at the University of South Australia.

Jet has experience working in various phases of project delivery, from schematic design to contract documentation across a variety of building types including residential, multi- residential, commercial, and education projects. Jet’s strong engagement with architectural research has been instrumental in the execution of feasibility and master planning projects, and contributed to sessional roles as a tutor at UniSA, and Monash Art Design and Architecture School.

During his time at Phillips/Pilkington Architects in 2012- 2013, Jet employed his expertise in the area of Australian modernist architecture to heritage projects by architects Robin Boyd, in addition to Dickson & Platten. Upon relocating to Melbourne in 2014, Jet worked closely with Cumulus Studio Director Keith Westbrook on the delivery of Loreto Mandeville Centre while at Architectus Melbourne.

Following his completion of a Master of Architecture at the University of South Australia in 2013, Jet’s thesis project was awarded the Hodgkison Graduate Prize for excellence, and the Architecture Practice Board of S.A.’s 2013 Travelling Prize in Architecture.
