We’re extremely excited to announce that our Architect and Associate Edwina Brisbane has been selected as one of five winners for the 2023 Australian Institute of Architects' Dulux Study Tour.

Edwina will join other emerging architects Ellen Buttrose, Bradley Kerr, Tiffany Liew, and Sarah Lebner on a 10-day tour of Europe in May, visiting Helsinki, Lisbon, Zurich and the Venice Architecture Biennale.

She now joins Cumulus’ growing list of members that have taken part in the prestigious tour, including Directors Keith Westbrook, Peter Walker, as well as Architect and Associate Elizabeth Walsh.

Edwina’s wide architectural experience ranges from small scale projects, such as the Fleinvær Refugium artist cabins in northern Norway, which won Architizer A+ People’s Choice award for Concept – Architecture + Landscape, to large social housing developments like our Goulburn Street Housing project — which won two awards at the 2022 Tasmanian Architecture Awards.

Supported by Dulux Group and the Australian Institute of Architects, the international travel scholarship recognises outstanding contributions to architectural practice, education, design excellence and community involvement in Australia.
