We welcomed Tim to our Hobart studio in early 2021, after working in NSW for a number of years and a little hiccup to his working overseas in 2020 plans we were delighted to have Tim join our team.

Designing for Tim is all about problem solving, he sees each project as a jigsaw puzzle with lots of small parts that slowly reveal themselves which need to piece together to form a larger cohesive picture. However, there isn’t one solution – Tim likes to focus on how design responds to people, place and how it will enhance the lives of those who have to interact with it. More often than not Tim’s philosophy is to embrace the simple rather than the overly complex.

Tim’s passion stemmed from a love of drawing which was a big factor when deciding to pursue architecture. He is a big believer that architecture can shape the way you feel about a place or can make you aware of something that you may not have noticed otherwise.

In his spare time Tim loves being active … running, bike riding or in the water, anything outdoors exploring remote and wild locations – which we are sure Tassie will be able to provide a whole new playground for him to explore!
