We would like to extend a big congratulations to the team from the Port Cygnet Cannery after a very successful opening weekend.

The former apple canning factory has been established as a new hub of local food, beverage and agriculture within a small, southern Tasmanian town renowned for fresh produce, rolling green hills and the arts.

Cumulus Studio were engaged at an early stage of the project to assist with initial planning/concept work and have since watched what was once a vast industrial shell transform into a vibrant new addition to the Huon Valley hospitality scene.

With the restaurant and bar space now ready and rolling for a big summer, work will continue into the new year to finalise the Sailor Seeks Horse Cellar Door and an additional events space at the Cannery site.

We look forward to watching the space continue to evolve and wish the team all the best for what is sure to be a very busy 2020.
