Jason Licht

B.ENV DES, M.ARCH, Registered Architect TAS Associate / Architect

Educated at the University of Tasmania, Jason began his career as part of the creative team responsible for Hobart’s Museum of Old and New Art (Mona).

From 2008-2013 he worked for 6ty Architecture Engineering Surveying with a focus on inter-disciplinary design, working predominantly in commercial, education and multi-residential architecture. In 2013, he received a vocational exchange scholarship to Italy where he worked with local architects, engineers and artists on tourism and heritage conservation projects.

Ever the keen bean, Jason is currently chair of EmAGN Tas, along with holding the role of Vice-President of the Tasmanian Chapter Council at the Institute of Architects. He completed the Tasmanian Leaders Program in 2017, and has recently been awarded the TICT / Skal Club of Hobart‘s Tasmanian Tourism Future Leader Scholarship to travel to Northern California.

Jason is known to break out the dance moves around the office, and loves a good sing-along. When he has the time around his various commitments, he’ll be off outdoors, either bushwalking, fishing, or hitting some kind of ball around.
