Registered Architect TAS #1399

Launceston Studio

Kate’s decades of national and international professional experience span architecture, design management and project management for design-focused architectural practices and property developers.

Kate's diverse portfolio has seen her work on projects across most sectors of our industry, from unique tourism experiences in Uluru and South Australia’s Kangaroo Island, to luxury multi-residential towers in the heart of London, and public transport projects on Sydney Harbour. She was also the project lead for two of the largest education redevelopments in Tasmania.

Kate complements her project knowledge with a keen sense of collaboration and stakeholder engagement, and an ability to lead and work within large multidisciplinary team environments.

Previously a tutor at the University of Tasmania's School of Architecture and Design, Kate is a registered architect, and holds a Bachelor of Environmental Design and a Bachelor of Architecture.

A photograph of two happy small dogs sitting on a concrete surface in front of tall sunflowers, both looking toward the camera with their tongues out, framed by greenery and a house in the background. A landscape photograph of a rocky mountain ridge with tall, jagged stone formations dusted with snow, overlooking a wide valley under a bright sky with scattered clouds. A minimal composition of a bird perched on a bare branch, silhouetted against a pale blue sky with a large expanse of negative space.
