Kate is a registered architect with more than a decade of national and international design experience.
She has been recognised both in academic and professional settings with accolades from the Royal Institute of British Architects and as the winner of the the Daryl Jackson Alastair Swayn Graduates Prize.

In 2022 Kate was named the ACT winner for the Australian Institute of Architects’ Emerging Architect Award and was shortlisted for the prestigious Dulux Tour, both of which recognise outstanding contributions to architectural practice, research and education in Australia.

She compliments our studio’s approach through her focus on spatially efficient, smart, sustainable design and creating spaces that are embedded in their place and community.

Her varied portfolio, which extends across the education, multi-residential, and retail spaces, includes small scale homes in the ACT to multi-million dollar developments in the UK.

Beyond her architectural practice, Kate has written articles for Sanctuary Magazine, is a sessional tutor and design studio convener for the Faculty of Art and Design at the University of Canberra, contributes to the Architects Accreditation Council of Australia’s (AACA) National Examination Paper and is a board member of the Canberra Street Theatre.
