Breaking ground at Karadi Health Clinic

Earlier this year, Senator Carol Brown and Mayor of Glenorchy City Council Sue Hickey joined the Karadi team for a groundbreaking ceremony at the site of their new centre.

Currently under construction by Fairbrother, the project will create a new space for Karadi, an inclusive Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation that promotes social inclusion, cultural pride, and overall wellbeing among Aboriginal people and the community as a whole. The design centres around a native garden and gathering space, and aspires to nurture cultural awareness by engaging with the practice of being connected to Country in mind and spirit.
