Cooking for a Cause
Our Hobart team recently joined OzHarvest for one of their Cooking for a Cause workshops.
We spent three hours in the kitchen with OzHarvest chefs, transforming rescued food into restaurant-quality meals delivered directly to people in our community. But the morning was really about understanding the work OzHarvest does every day.
They rescue food that would otherwise go to waste and get it to people who need it. They do it with generosity and purpose. And through experiences like this one, they share that story in a way that stays with you.
We left the kitchen grateful, and more aware of the waste we too easily accept as normal. Thank you to OzHarvest for having us.
