Oak Rise Housing taking shape in West Ulverstone

Bucking the usual prototype for social housing, the design for this development employs an alternating exterior colour palette and strategically interspersed pop-up windows to playfully identify different zones across the site, and highlight residents’ individuality.

A sense of community is also important, with connected streets and a series of shared parks encouraging families to explore and engage with their neighbours.

We’re proud to provide a preview of this new addition to Tasmania’s beautiful north west, which will weave together 48 courtyard-style homes with communal green spaces and striking natural landscapes, to help fulfil the need for social housing in the region.
