Our own Anna Alvis features in the 177 Nations of Tasmania

A few years ago, our team member Anna Alvis was approached to take part in a podcast called the 177 Nations of Tasmania. The project, created by Mark Thomson, set out to interview one person from each of the 177 countries represented in Tasmania's population - building a collection of stories from the people who call the island home.

Anna's interview became Episode 57, sharing her story as one of just 20 Seychellois living in Tasmania. What started as a podcast has since grown into something much larger. The project is now on display as an exhibition at the State Library and Archives of Tasmania in both Launceston and Hobart, with a coffee table book on the way.

We're proud to have someone from our team represented in such a thoughtful project, and we'd encourage anyone to visit the exhibition or listen to a few episodes. The stories are generous, humble and genuinely inspiring.
