Balfour Street Terrace shortlisted in the 2026 AIA National Awards

We’re excited to share that Balfour Street Terrace has been shortlisted in the Residential Architecture - Alterations and Additions category of the Australian Institute of Architects (AIA) National Awards.

Approached as a single, coherent architectural idea carried through the whole house, the design continues the logic of the original rather than contradicting it. Guided by the underlying architectural language of the original building, the proportions, geometry and rhythm of the heritage terrace informed every intervention.
