Queens Walk wins National Community Housing Award

We’re proud to see the Queens Walk Social Housing project recognised at the Australian Community Housing 2025 National Awards, where it was awarded the Modernisation of Built Form Development Award at Parliament House in Canberra.

It is especially gratifying that the project has been recognised by Australian Community Housing, the national peak body representing Australia’s community housing providers. This ambitious infill urban renewal project demonstrates how thoughtful design and strong collaboration can deliver high-quality, sustainable and people-focused homes for the community.

Congratulations to Housing Choices Australia and the entire project team who worked on Queens Walk. Cumulus Studio is incredibly proud of what we have achieved together through close collaboration with our client (thank you Will Harkness) and builder Fairbrother, and we are grateful for the trust placed in our team throughout the project.

A big thank you also to our wider group of collaborators including Era Advisory, REALMstudios, Purcell, RED Sustainability Consultants, Futago, WT (Australia), Aldanmark, COVA, Hubble Traffic and NVC, as well as the community stakeholders and residents who make Queens Walk the vibrant neighbourhood it is today.
